Our efforts impact neighborhoods in transition where low, moderate, and market-rate families work to rebuild and sustain quality housing, schools, and businesses. The Corporation for Community and Economic Development United (CCEDU) is a non-profit 501 C 3 organization that provides technical assistance to develop and strengthen small businesses; advocate for the management and maintenance of commercial corridors and place-making initiatives in low-income communities; develop safety and violence prevention programs; direct business attraction and retention programs and oversee out-of-school time social/emotional and healthy options for families. In addition, the Corporation partners with the local Workforce Development Boards, a job placement provider primarily serving residents affected by poverty and barriers to employment.
